Site visit to the construction site of the former toll house on Viale Trento to coordinate the remaining interventions and adhere to the schedule of the Riva del Garda health center. The municipal administration, together with Farmacie Comunali and the construction company Edilchiarani, assessed the progress of the work and the expected completion times.
The councilor for public works, Pietro Matteotti, emphasized the importance of these monthly site visits to avoid delays and effectively coordinate the work. He also announced that the scaffolding will be removed by the end of the month, allowing the site to be closed by the end of June. At that point, the building will be handed over to Farmacie Comunali, finished on the exterior and in the rough on the interior.
An interesting development concerns the exterior painting of the building: a special self-cleaning solution from a leading brand will be used, applied in nine coats. This will help keep the building clean despite its predominant white color. Additionally, the company will use the building as a backdrop for its advertising brochures, offering a beneficial solution at no extra cost.
As for the medical offices, they are expected to be operational by September 1st. Contracts are currently being finalized with doctors for three of the six available offices. For the pharmacy, the goal is to open on October 1st.
The former toll house on Viale Trento was demolished to make way for a modern healthcare facility, characterized by advanced technologies and low energy consumption (A+ class). The new municipal pharmacy will be located on the ground floor, while the medical offices will be on the first floor. On the second floor, at the request of Farmacie Comunali, there will be a guesthouse and some rooms for medical staff. An underground parking lot has been built for staff, while customer parking will be available in the external courtyard.
Councilor Matteotti also announced the municipality’s intention to acquire the former toll house by the lake for other purposes. Its strategic location on the Garda Cycle Path and at the beginning of the Ponale Trail could make it suitable for use as a facility dedicated to the world of bicycles.
In conclusion, the Riva del Garda health center is progressing according to the planned schedule and is expected to be completed by the end of June. Once finished, it will provide modern healthcare services tailored to the needs of the densely populated area in which it is located.
