A new police operation has led to the arrest of a couple living in Villanuova sul Clisi, in the area of Lake Garda, who were found in possession of drugs and a considerable amount of money. This incident follows a similar arrest that took place the day before in Desenzano del Garda.
Last night, during a local police check in Rezzato, a 46-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man with a criminal record were stopped. The search of their vehicle revealed the presence of 16 doses of cocaine and 8,000 euros hidden inside the car.
Subsequently, the authorities extended the search to their residence. Here, additional drugs were discovered: half an ounce of cocaine, an ounce of marijuana, and 30 grams of hashish. In addition to the illegal substances, various tools used for drug packaging, such as scales and materials, were also found.
The judge validated the arrest of the two individuals during the immediate trial. While the woman remains in custody, the man has been placed under the obligation of daily check-in.
