Castiglione delle Stiviere: Cyclist Incident, Air Rescue Intervention This morning, Sunday, January 12, a serious road accident occurred on Via Lonato in Castiglione delle Stiviere. Around 8:45 AM, a driver struck two cyclists while making a turn. The individuals involved are two men aged 54 and one aged 49. Following the incident, two ambulances, a medical car, and an air rescue helicopter that took off from Brescia were dispatched to assist one of the cyclists in critical condition.
The most seriously injured cyclist was urgently transported in red code to Mantova Hospital, while the other cyclist, who sustained less severe injuries, was transferred in yellow code to the Poliambulanza in Brescia. To clarify the dynamics of the incident, local carabinieri also intervened at the scene.
