In Desenzano del Garda, Democratic Party councilors Maria Vittoria Papa and Andrea Palmerini have expressed concerns regarding the deterioration of the David Maria Turoldo Park in Rivoltella. They questioned the Public Works Councillor, Marco Maiolo, asking whether he was aware of the current conditions of the green space, emphasizing the need for maintenance to ensure it remains a recreational area for families and children.
Currently, the park features equipment such as swings and benches that are in a state of neglect, and a skating rink that is unusable due to overgrown grass. The councilors have received reports from regular visitors to the area, including a child who suggested the installation of new swings. They stress that the care of green spaces is vital for the community and reference the mayor’s programmatic lines on the importance of maintaining public areas.
