On Monday, December 23rd at 8:30 PM, the Cathedral of Desenzano del Garda will host the Christmas Concert, marking the opening of the 2024-2025 Concert Season, organized in collaboration with the Garda Lake Music Festival. The event will feature I Piccoli Musici, a prestigious vocal ensemble directed by Mario Mora, who will perform alongside the Children’s Choir and the Women’s Vocal Ensemble. This concert not only inaugurates the musical series but also presents “The Legend of the Wise Artaban: The Fourth Wise Man,” a musical tale composed by Domenico Clapasson, inspired by the text of Henry Van Dyke.
The choir, founded in 1986 in Casazza, is renowned for its vibrant artistic activity and has participated in significant international festivals. Soloists Francesca Longa, Giorgia Semeraro, and Chiara Signorelli will accompany the recitation of Valerio Busseni, supported by the chamber orchestra “Soledad Sonora.” Admission to the concert is free, providing everyone the opportunity to immerse themselves in the magic of Christmas through music.
