The project “60 Minutes for Inclusion” was recently launched in Desenzano del Garda, with the aim of promoting accessible tourism and enhancing disability inclusion in the area. In collaboration with Zero Barriere Odv and World4All, the Consorzio Lago di Garda Lombardia has organized two significant events: the first will take place on January 15 at the Sala Peler of Palazzo Todeschini, focusing on training tourism operators on how to welcome individuals with reduced mobility. The second event, scheduled for January 31 at 3:00 PM in the Sala dei Provveditori of the Municipality of Salò, will present the progress made in mapping accessible facilities and optimizing the services offered.
This initiative involves several municipalities in the region, including Desenzano, Padenghe, Salò, and Sirmione, and is also supported by the Lombardy Region. Through innovative tools like the World4All application, visitors will be able to access detailed information about the accessibility of points of interest. The organizers emphasize the importance of creating an inclusive environment that respects local specifics, thereby ensuring that everyone can enjoy the natural and cultural beauty of the Lake.
