The Municipality of Desenzano del Garda has decided to provide financial support to families to encourage the participation of minors in summer activities organized in the area. By granting economic contributions in the form of vouchers, the aim is to facilitate the attendance of summer activities for children and teenagers aged 3 to 14 during the school break.
Parents who reside in Desenzano and enroll their children in summer activities organized by entities registered in the Albo dei Partner for summer 2024 can apply for this support. The list of registered entities will be published on the municipality’s official website starting from April 22 in the section dedicated to summer camps.
It is the responsibility of the family to identify and enroll minors in a summer activity listed in the Albo dei Partner – Estate 2024 that aligns with their needs. Additionally, it is necessary to keep the payment receipt that includes the fiscal code, last name and first name of the enrolled minor, the week of enrollment, and the amount paid.
Applications must be submitted through the “Istanze online” platform from August 20 to September 20, 2024. The platform can be accessed through the Desenzano del Garda municipality’s website under the “Social Services” section, where the “Request for partial reimbursement vouchers for summer camp attendance 2024” form can be filled out.
The amount of the vouchers varies based on the Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator (ISEE) of the family unit. For family units with an ISEE equal to or less than €15,000, the reimbursement will be €70 per week for a maximum of four weeks with full-time attendance (including lunch service), up to the actual cost incurred. For family units with an ISEE between €15,000.01 and €30,000.00, the reimbursement will be €50 per week for a maximum of four weeks with full-time attendance (including lunch service), up to the actual cost incurred. No vouchers will be granted to family units with an ISEE above €30,000 or without an ISEE certification.
In the case of part-time attendance (reduced hours, only in the morning or only in the afternoon, without lunch service), the weekly voucher amount will be halved.
With this initiative, the Municipality of Desenzano del Garda aims to support families in the participation of their children in summer activities, thus promoting social and cultural growth within the community.
