Future Hospital of Desenzano: New Mobilization of Citizens The Committee “Let’s Keep the Desenzano Hospital at Montecroce” has called for a march on Saturday, March 29, titled the “March of the Invisible.” The event will begin at 9:30 AM in Piazza Garibaldi and aims to amplify the voices of citizens in front of institutions accused of ignoring their demands. The demonstration will head towards the hospital and conclude in Piazza Malvezzi around 11:45 AM, with the goal of requesting greater transparency and participation in decisions regarding the future of the Montecroce hospital.
The Committee emphasizes that decisions related to the hospital have been made without adequate public consultation, despite the collection of eight thousand signatures calling for a feasibility study that considers crucial aspects such as seismic upgrades and fire safety. Committee members highlight that a more inclusive management approach could prevent economic waste and protect the territory, stressing the importance of active citizen participation in the decision-making process.
