Palazzo Ducale, a symbol of local culture and history, offers new opportunities to explore lesser-known aspects of its artistic heritage. In October, visitors will have the chance to participate in guided tours that will delve into the Neoclassical Chambers and the Dwarfs’ Apartment, located in the Scala Santa.
Tour Details
The tours will take place on Saturday, October 12 and 26, 2024, with scheduled departures at 9:30 AM, 11:00 AM, 2:30 PM, and 4:00 PM. Specialized staff in hospitality and supervision will guide participants through an exclusive route in areas that are typically not accessible to the public. Reservations are required at the Infopoint, which can be contacted at 0376 352100, available from Tuesday to Sunday from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
Entrances and Costs
The entrance ticket costs €5, while the guided service is offered free of charge to visitors. The meeting point for the tours will be at the exit in Piazza Sordello.
Extra Evening Openings
In addition to these initiatives, on Friday, October 25, 2024, the Museo di Palazzo Ducale will exceptionally remain open in the evening until 11:15 PM, with the last entry scheduled for 10:20 PM. During this special opening, the Castello di San Giorgio and the Archaeological Museum will also be accessible.
Starting from 7:30 PM, visitors will be able to explore the ground floor of the Castle, which will showcase a new display of the museum’s Renaissance collections. The evening entrance will have a reduced cost of €9.
