A gang specializing in thefts of smartphones and electronic devices has been dismantled thanks to an operation conducted by the Carabinieri of Castiglione delle Stiviere.
The arrests took place in Soiano del Lago, in the province of Brescia. The investigation began in the previous November and allowed the authorities to outline the modus operandi of the criminals. It was discovered that the gang used rental cars with the complicity of local informants to ensure their getaways.
The operation was a success thanks to the collaboration between the Carabinieri of Castiglione delle Stiviere, Salò, and Brescia.
