Starting today, October 23, work has commenced on upgrading the stormwater drainage system along the Gardesana in Gardone Riviera. The construction site extends for approximately 160 linear meters, affecting the right lane heading towards Salò, and will implement a one-way alternating traffic system regulated by traffic lights or flaggers. The work will take place from 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Saturday, until December 6, causing disruptions to road traffic.
The project has a budget of 150,000 euros, co-financed by the PNRR, and aims to prevent flooding in the section between the traffic light at the intersection with Via Roma and the bus stop near the Grand Hotel. It is hoped that the timeline will be adhered to and that weather conditions will not further delay the work.
