In recent days, one arrest and two reports have shaken the territory of Valtènesi, with significant intervention from the Local Police. In Manerba, a 30-year-old man was arrested for drug possession with intent to sell during traffic checks conducted along Provincial Road 572 in the Campagnola area. The young man, already known to law enforcement and with a revoked driver’s license, was found in possession of approximately 100 grams of hashish and marijuana. The judge has validated the arrest, imposing a ban on residing in the area pending trial.
In addition to the arrest, two other individuals have been reported in the same area. Another 30-year-old Italian was caught with burglary tools during a nighttime check, while a 44-year-old from Eastern Europe was found with a baton in the parking lot of Conad in Padenghe. Law enforcement operations continue to ensure safety and uphold the law in Valtènesi.
