A drug robbery incident shook Castiglione delle Stiviere just before the Christmas holidays, involving two young dealers, a brother and sister from the Milan area. The duo had arranged to sell one kilogram of hashish to a buyer, but during the meeting, only one of the buyers showed up. After displaying the cash, the accomplice stole the drugs and fled the scene. The incident was witnessed by several bystanders who promptly alerted the carabinieri, who then uncovered the nature of the “loot” and initiated an investigation.
The search efforts led to the identification of the fugitive, a young man from Castiglione, who was found in possession of €1,410 in cash and equipment for packaging drugs, and was subsequently charged with drug dealing. The investigation extended beyond local borders: with the cooperation of the Milan carabinieri and the canine unit from Orio al Serio, searches were conducted at the homes of the Milanese siblings, where 22 grams of hashish and additional packaging materials were discovered. Both were reported for theft and drug dealing.
