The incident involving the drunk Austrian tourist that caused chaos at the emergency room in Desenzano and later at the police station was certainly a distressing and concerning episode for everyone present at those locations.
The young man, completely intoxicated, reportedly urinated inside the waiting room of the emergency room, causing alarm among other patients and damaging the furniture in the facility. The medical staff, realizing the aggressiveness of the tourist, promptly called for police intervention.
The carabinieri responded promptly and identified the young Austrian, then escorting him to the police station. Unfortunately, even there, the tourist did not cease to vent his anger and frustration, violently hitting doors and walls. At that point, it was necessary to call a doctor to calm the young man down.
The actions of the tourist did not go unpunished: he was reported for resisting and attempting to assault the medical staff.
