The new Board of Directors of the Canottieri Garda Salò was elected during the ordinary assembly of members held on Sunday, December 1. The eleven chosen members will lead the historic sports club for the 2024-2028 term, overseeing the administration and direction of competitive activities. Among the newly elected are names such as Andrea Bartolozzi, Nicola Benedetti, and Alessio Cappa. The re-election of the outgoing President Marco Maroni was not possible, marking the end of an eight-year term.
The Canottieri Garda Salò represents an important reference point for water sports in Salò, managing three sports facilities that attract thousands of visitors each year. In 2023, over 1,000 students participated in courses organized by the club, highlighting its commitment to sports education. Additionally, there were about one hundred days dedicated to sports events in Salò, including the prestigious Rowing Championships, which drew athletes from across Italy and beyond.
