A support administrator and bankruptcy trustee from Brescia has been accused of embezzling over two million euros from those he was supposed to assist, leading to an investigation by the Guardia di Finanza. Law enforcement executed a search and seizure warrant following reports of irregularities in the management of the administrations. Among the irregularities identified were unjustified cash withdrawals and bank transfers made in his favor, accompanied by omissions in the financial statements.
The investigations revealed that the professional had been operating between 2015 and 2024, unlawfully appropriating funds intended for the individuals under his administration and for bankrupt companies. The Prosecutor’s Office ordered an urgent preventive seizure of the proceeds of the crime, amounting to 2,215,993.87 euros, which was subsequently validated by the competent judge. During the operation, significant assets were seized, including two residences, a garage, a vehicle, and a boat.
