From April 25th, the Lombardy Region and Trenord will enhance train services to Lake Garda on public holidays. This decision was made to meet the growing demand from travelers who are increasingly choosing the train as a means of transportation to visit the beauties of Lombardy.
The Regional Councilor for Transport and Sustainable Mobility stated that the project involves adding four additional trains between Milan Porta Garibaldi and Sondrio on public holidays. These trains will make stops at all stations between Lecco and Sondrio, offering a convenient option for those who wish to spend a day on the shores of Lake Como or in the Valtellina.
In addition, on April 25th and May 1st, two trips to Lake Garda and Verona will be enhanced.
