An episode of vandalism caused the evacuation of the Bazoli-Polo High School in Desenzano del Garda. Yesterday morning, someone sprayed pepper spray in a school passageway, causing several students between the ages of 14 and 18 to become intoxicated. Some students experienced significant allergic reactions, and one student had a panic attack. Four ambulances, two fire trucks, local police, and the carabinieri responded to the scene.
The intervention of law enforcement was coordinated by Mayor Guido Malinverno. The school was promptly evacuated to allow for sanitization operations. This incident follows a similar one that occurred on May 30th at the Vittoria metro station in Brescia, where some individuals sprayed irritant spray in the stairwell, causing intoxications and a one-hour service interruption. Authorities are investigating to identify those responsible for the incident at Bazoli-Polo.
