The exhibition “Real Human Bodies – An Exhibition of Real Human Bodies – ARCO” is coming to the Arco Casino, offering the public the opportunity to explore the human body in a detailed and scientific way. Through the technique of plastination, which allows for the preservation of body tissues, a vast collection of valuable anatomical pieces is on display for educational purposes.
The exhibition features whole human bodies, skeletons, limbs, organs, and tactile models that allow visitors to deepen their knowledge of the structure and functioning of the human body. General and specific topics are addressed, including the skeleton and musculoskeletal system, the brain and nervous system, the reproductive organs, the heart and circulatory system, the kidneys and urinary tract, the digestive system, the sensory organs, and the respiratory system. Detailed explanations, multimedia presentations, and educational tables enhance the learning experience.
In addition, the exhibition also provides information on organ donation, cancer, AIDS, and the harmful effects of alcohol and nicotine on the human body.
Tickets for entry to the exhibition can be purchased online or at the ticket office. The price varies depending on the category: children up to 5 years old enter for free; students and senior citizens/people with disabilities pay €12 when purchasing online and €15 at the ticket office; adults pay €17 online and €20 at the ticket office. Only card payments are accepted at the ticket office.
