Municipal Order No. 78/2024 of the Municipality of Salò provides for the extension of the operating period for heating systems using combustion within the municipal territory. The decision was made in consideration of the current weather conditions, which have resulted in temperatures dropping below seasonal averages.
According to the order, heating systems can be activated until May 6, 2024, for a maximum of 7 hours per day between 5 am and 11 pm. It is important to comply with the temperatures and other provisions indicated in points 3 and 4 of the attached order.
This decision will allow citizens to have heating in their homes during this prolonged period of cold weather. However, it is crucial to respect the restrictions set by the order to ensure responsible use of heating systems.
Please note that the Municipality of Salò also promotes other environmentally-related initiatives, such as participating in the national event “M’Illumino di Meno,” which encourages energy conservation. Additionally, the ecological island will be closed on certain holidays.
