A traffic accident that occurred on January 15 in Villanuova sul Clisi has led to the indictment of a 51-year-old woman, accused of failing to assist. After a month and a half of investigations conducted by the Local Police of Valle Sabbia in collaboration with their colleagues in Salò, the officers managed to identify the person responsible for the incident. The woman, a resident of the Garda area, had fled the scene after the collision without providing help to the other driver, a 45-year-old who sustained minor injuries.
The investigations revealed crucial evidence that led to the identification of the vehicle involved: although it had been partially repaired, it still showed clear signs of the accident and missing parts corresponding to those recovered at the scene. Following the evidence collected, the woman was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with injuries and failing to assist, resulting in the suspension of her driver’s license and the obligation to compensate the other party involved for damages.
