On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the football club Feralpisalò has unveiled a special edition jersey that will be worn by players during the Serie C match scheduled for Sunday afternoon at 5:30 PM at the Turina Stadium in Salò against Triestina. This initiative, carried out in collaboration with the Maddalina Association from San Felice del Benaco, aims to raise public awareness about the fight against gender violence and represents a symbolic gesture that emphasizes the connection between sports and social commitment.
The jersey features a unique design inspired by Christmas sweaters, showcasing the logo of the Maddalina Association on the front and a list of crimes that need to be reported on the back, giving a voice to those who often remain silent. After the match, the jerseys will be auctioned off on Charity Stars to support the association’s projects for women victims of violence. The evening will also include the presence of Francesca Omodei and Alessandro Lucà, authors dedicated to promoting women’s rights. This initiative is part of a broader range of activities planned for the week dedicated to raising awareness on this crucial issue.
