A fire broke out on the roof of a villa in Salò this afternoon, specifically on Via Puegnago, near the Tavina factory. The blaze started around 1:10 PM and appears to have been caused by flames coming from a chimney of the residence. Approximately fifteen Firefighters responded to the scene with five vehicles from the Salò and Gardone Valtrompia stations, quickly containing the fire to the exterior of the structure.
The firefighters’ operations included the partial removal of the insulating section of the roof to prevent further spread of the flames. After extinguishing the fire, the firefighters proceeded to ground the external chimneys and secure the area, completing their work around 4:00 PM. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries or significant structural damage to the affected residence.
