A fire in Padenghe has devastated a two-family house on Via Manara, at the corner of Via Crispi, this morning. Three teams from the Padenghe fire department, coming from Salò and Cunettone, responded to extinguish the flames that completely destroyed the ground floor of the residence. Fortunately, there were no injuries or cases of smoke inhalation, as the owner was not home at the time of the incident; the alarm was raised by her daughter, who lives in the adjacent house, with the assistance of some neighbors.
The firefighters have declared the house 90% uninhabitable, and investigations are currently underway to determine the causes of the incident. The situation is under control, and safety operations continue to ensure the stability of the structure.
