A new warning from the Coast Guard has alerted boaters on the Lake Garda about the presence of floating logs in the waters. This notification, which follows a previous alert issued last weekend, emphasizes the need for heightened caution while navigating.
Details of the Notification
The authorities have identified several floating logs along the coastal stretch between Toscolano Maderno and Campione. Additionally, more logs have been found in Salò, specifically in the waters adjacent to the mouth of the Barbarano stream. The estimated size of the debris is approximately 200×200 meters, located about 100 meters from the shore.
Recommendations for Boaters
In response to this situation, the Coast Guard strongly advises lake users to exercise caution during their nautical activities. It is recommended to reduce the speed of vessels and to remain vigilant to avoid accidents caused by these natural obstacles.
