The sixteenth edition of “Fiori nella Rocca” (Flowers in the Fortress), held in Lonato del Garda from April 12th to 14th, was a great success, with an extraordinary turnout of visitors. In addition to the many residents of the beautiful town of Lonato, who were granted free entry, over 15,000 visitors were counted.
The spring event is increasingly appreciated by gardening enthusiasts and lovers of rare plants, and it confirms the prestige it has gained at a national level thanks to the support of the Garden Club Brescia. The watercolor courses were highly appreciated, as well as the opportunity to admire two temporary exhibitions scheduled until the end of June: “Nino Ferrari. The art of metal between tradition and modernity” at the Casa del Podestà, and “Piranesi Basilico. Views of Rome” at the Rocca di Lonato.
The Director of the Ugo Da Como Foundation, Giovanna Nocivelli, expressed great satisfaction with the turnout and thanked the group of volunteers who offered their valuable help for the success of the event.
