On Saturday, March 8, the assembly of the Fraglia Vela Desenzano took place, during which Stefano Loda was confirmed as president for the 2025/2028 term. Loda received unanimous support, reflecting the trust the members have in his leadership during the previous term. Alongside him, the council members Pier Acquaviva, Lorenzo Azzi, Aureliano Casuccio, Stefano Girelli, and Dyamila Scalvini were also re-elected, while the new council welcomes Alessandro Archetti, Alessandro Bocchio, Filippo Collia, Marco Franchi, and Mattia Polettini.
In his address to the assembly, Loda highlighted the successes achieved over the past four years with the sailing schools and competitive teams, which have involved a total of 47 athletes. Among the most successful initiatives are the summer Social Championship and the Winter Challenge, but a particularly significant event was the recent University World Championship held in the Gulf of Desenzano, which welcomed young sailors from 14 countries. With a rich program of activities and future projects, the new team is ready to continue on the path laid out to promote the sport of sailing in Desenzano.
