The Fraglia Vela Desenzano is preparing to host the 58th Trofeo Tridentina and the 51st Trofeo Visconti, scheduled for Saturday, March 22, and Sunday, March 23. These races, among the most prestigious of the sailing season on Lake Garda, will see the participation of around thirty boats, providing a significant opportunity for local crews to compete in a context rich in tradition. The competing one-designs will be divided into 16 Dolphin 81s and 11 Protagonist 7.5s; for the Dolphin class, the Tridentina marks the beginning of the Regional Championship, while for the Protagonists, it signifies the start of the 2025 circuit.
The president of Fraglia Vela Desenzano, Stefano Loda, emphasized the importance of the event following the success of the previous “Sailing Days.” The schedule includes the first race of the “Trofeo Visconti” on Saturday at 1:30 PM and the starting signal for the coastal race “Trofeo Tridentina” on Sunday at 8:30 AM, with an expected finish in the afternoon followed by a pasta party. Spectators will have the chance to experience the excitement of the competition up close by following the race from the club’s docks.
