A young con artist is posing as a member of the Alpine Club in Salò, collecting funds for a supposed purchase of an ambulance or a minibus for the disabled. Numerous reports from citizens, shopkeepers, and restaurateurs have prompted the Salò Alpine Group to issue a warning on social media, urging the public not to trust the imposter and to contact the authorities if approached by him.
The fraudster, described as a man in his thirties, has been seen roaming in civilian clothes both in Salò and in neighboring towns, issuing fake receipts after receiving donations. The incident has garnered significant attention and has even been mentioned on the television program “Pomeriggio Cinque” on Mediaset, highlighting the seriousness of the situation.
