Sirmione offers free entry thanks to the “Sunday at the Museum” initiative. On January 5th, visitors will be able to explore the Grotte di Catullo and the Archaeological Museum of Sirmione, as well as the Roman Villa and Antiquarium of Desenzano del Garda, all at no cost. This day marks a new occasion for the initiative promoted by the Ministry of Culture, which provides free access to state museums and archaeological parks on the first Sunday of each month.
The special openings will take place during regular hours, with the option to make reservations where necessary. This initiative represents an unmissable opportunity to discover the historical and cultural richness of the two locations in the Lower Garda region, making significant artistic treasures accessible to an ever-growing audience.
