As part of its periodic asset review, the Bruno Emmert Civic Library in Arco has made available 952 free books deemed no longer suitable for various reasons, such as outdated content or wear and tear. These volumes can be requested by public and private non-profit entities and institutions, including schools, until January 20. To make a request, it is necessary to send an email specifying that at least ten books are desired.
The list of available titles is divided into adult fiction and children’s and young adult literature and can be consulted on the library’s website. After the phase dedicated to entities and associations, any remaining books will be offered to the public through a market at the symbolic price of two euros each. This initiative has been approved by the Superintendence for Cultural Heritage, in accordance with current regulations.
