On the occasion of World Kidney Day, the Pederzoli Hospital in Peschiera del Garda is organizing two events to offer free screenings to the public. Specialists from the Nephrology and Dialysis Unit, led by Professor Yuri Battaglia, will be available to provide information on risk factors related to kidney diseases and to conduct blood pressure checks and urine analyses. The initiative will take place on Monday, March 10, from 9 AM to 12 PM at the Gandini Civic Center located at Via Suor Maria Laura Mainetti 1 in Peschiera del Garda, and on Tuesday, March 11, also from 9 AM to 12 PM, in the civic hall of Castelnuovo del Garda at Piazza della Libertà 4.
This campaign aims to raise community awareness about the importance of preventing kidney diseases, a topic that has garnered increasing attention in recent years. The Italian Kidney Foundation, with the support of the involved municipalities, backs the initiative as part of a broader commitment to improve the renal health of the local population through timely diagnoses and appropriate treatments.
