The work has begun on the completion of two new sections of the **Garda Cycle Path** along the Trentino shore, between the Limniadi Gallery and the Titans Gallery. These two sections, referred to as functional units 3.2 and 3.3, will extend the cycle path by a total of **1,300 meters**, connecting the municipality of Riva del Garda with the Lombardy border. Present at the groundbreaking ceremony were the president of the Autonomous Province of Trento, **Maurizio Fugatti**, the deputy mayor of Riva del Garda, **Silvia Betta**, along with other institutional representatives and officials from the companies awarded the contracts. The total investment for this project is approximately **8 million euros**.
The new sections of the cycle path have been designed with modifications to reduce environmental impact and ensure greater **safety** for cyclists. A section of suspended walkway has been removed, and the path within the existing tunnels has been widened, thus minimizing the impact on the natural landscape. Section 3.2, measuring **700 meters**, connects the Limniadi Gallery to the Gola area, while section 3.3, at **600 meters**, runs from Gola to the Titans Gallery. The construction work, assigned to a temporary grouping of companies, is expected to last approximately **628 days** for the first section and **460 days** for the second.
