On Saturday, December 14, the Garda Trentino Xmas Trail will take place, an event celebrating trail running amidst the stunning nature and landscapes of the lake. This year, for the first time, the event has surpassed 1,000 registrations, highlighting the growing interest in this international competition. During the race, there will be traffic disruptions: the SS240 road will be closed from the Torbole roundabout to the Lidl store between 8:50 and 9:10, while the SP249 will remain closed from 9:40 to 10:40.
The long race of 30 kilometers will start at 9 AM from the Pavese colony in Torbole, involving around 600 athletes and passing through various locations until Arco, with an expected finish around 11:18. The shorter 15-kilometer race will begin at 10 AM with about 300 participants, also finishing at the Pavese colony. In this case, competitors are expected to finish between 11 and 12:36. The organizers urge drivers to pay attention to the road closure times to ensure the safety of the athletes during the event.
