The “Garda Unico” project aims to enhance the lake’s appeal by focusing on North American tourism, through a shared strategy among the three regions bordering its shores: Trentino, Veneto, and Lombardy. With a total investment of 900,000 euros, the initiative seeks to improve the visibility and attractiveness of Lake Garda, regarded as one of the markets with the greatest growth potential, alongside the Gulf countries and the Far East. The project was presented in Verona in the presence of regional tourism assessors and institutional representatives, highlighting the importance of cooperation to optimize promotional resources.
At the heart of the project is a strong emphasis on digital marketing, with online campaigns designed to amplify the international recognition of the destination through the portal VisitGarda.com. Additionally, initiatives such as the Garda Promotion Card will be implemented to build visitor loyalty, along with networking events between institutions and tourism operators to strengthen the Garda brand identity. The ultimate goal is to attract new tourist flows and consolidate the lake’s position as a preferred destination in the Italian and European landscape.
