Works to upgrade the stormwater drainage system along the SS45bis, between Gargnano and Salò, will begin in the second week of October and are expected to last approximately 40 days. During this period, traffic will be regulated with alternating one-way flow to facilitate excavation and the installation of new piping. This intervention, co-financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (Pnrr) for an amount of €150,000, aims to address the flooding issues on the state road during rainfalls.
To inform citizens about the project, the Municipality of Gardone Riviera has organized a meeting on Thursday evening at Palazzo Wimmer, where the project designer and the site manager will be present. Meanwhile, geological investigations are underway concerning the landslides in Gargnano, with two intervention options planned: either restoring the road downstream or widening the route upstream.
