An important advancement for the gallery project along the Gardesana, which will connect Gargnano and Tignale, has been announced with a positive opinion received from Rome. The project, costing 126 million euros, aims to address traffic congestion issues in the narrow tunnels known as “D’Acli,” “Eutemia,” and “Dei Ciclopi.” A delegation consisting of the president of the Mountain Community Park and mayor of Limone, Franceschino Risatti, along with the mayor of Tignale, Daniele Bonassi, and architect Stefania Baronio, met with the Minister of the Environment, Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, to discuss the latest phases of the project.
During the meeting, Risatti received assurances regarding the closure of the environmental procedure at the next Mase meeting. Following this crucial step, the Community Park will convene the Conference of Services, and Anas will proceed with the preparation of the executive project. The construction of the new gallery is already included in the Anas-Mit Program Agreement for 2021-2025, and it is expected that work could commence in 2025, provided all necessary permits are obtained.
