Moments of great concern were experienced in Riva del Garda, where residents reported a strong smell of gas, leading to the evacuation of three buildings. The fire department was called after several reports alerted the authorities to a possible gas leak. Upon arriving at the scene with three vehicles, the firefighters immediately secured the area, allowing residents to safely exit their homes as a precaution.
During the verification operations, three leaks were identified among the approximately 40 apartments affected by the emergency. Once the critical points were addressed, the firefighters continued with thorough inspections in the garages and basements to ensure the complete resolution of the situation. At this time, there are no reports of injuries or structural damage to the evacuated buildings.
