A tragic road accident has struck Bedizzole, resulting in the death of Gaston Nicolas Pascale Ugoiti, a 29-year-old man originally from Uruguay. The incident occurred while Nicolas was walking on the road connecting Bedizzole to Nuvolera and Molinetto when he was hit by a 61-year-old driver. Investigations conducted by the carabinieri aim to clarify the circumstances surrounding the event, particularly whether the driver stopped after the accident. After hitting the young man, the driver reportedly returned home before sending his son to call for help.
Nicolas was transported to the Civile Hospital by firefighters and medical personnel, but unfortunately, he passed away the following day.
