A woman from Gavardo has filed a compensation claim of over 107,000 euros against the municipality after allegedly falling on the sidewalk of Viale Avanzi due to a pothole. The incident occurred on March 9, and after an initial compensation request was denied, she decided to take the case to court. The hearing for the appearance of the parties is scheduled for November 7.
The municipality, supported by its insurance company, denies any responsibility, asserting that the unevenness of the sidewalk was visible and did not pose a danger. A technical report prepared by municipal offices confirms the presence of the pothole but argues that it did not meet the characteristics of a hazard. The matter will now be evaluated by the judge of the Brescia Court.
