An assault occurred in Gavardo yesterday evening, Thursday, March 20, when a homeowner discovered a thief in his house while attempting to rob his apartment. The incident took place around 8:30 PM in a condominium on Via Orsolina Avanzi, where the criminal, after forcing a window to gain entry, struck the man on the head in an attempt to escape. Despite the violence of the attack, emergency medical personnel confirmed that the injuries were not serious and transported the victim to the hospital.
The authorities were alerted immediately after the incident, and the carabinieri launched an investigation on-site to collect the report and carry out the necessary examinations. The thief managed to flee before the authorities arrived, leaving behind a sense of concern among the residents of the area.
