Giuseppe Pasini has been elected as the new president of Confindustria Lombardia during the Presidential Council held this morning in Milano. The election, which will cover the four-year term from 2025 to 2029, took place unanimously after Pasini was designated as the sole candidate by the Nomination Committee, composed of the last three outgoing presidents. The official confirmation was followed by a public event at the Feltrinelli Foundation, attended by numerous representatives from institutions and the business world.
In his inaugural speech, Pasini emphasized the importance of listening to the needs of local associations and highlighted Lombardy’s crucial role in the national economy, accounting for 23% of Italy’s GDP. He also reiterated the necessity for interventions at both the European and national levels to support the competitiveness of local businesses in a complex international economic landscape. Born in Odolo in 1961 and leading Feralpi Spa since 2007, Pasini has a long career in industrial associations and aims to enhance Lombardy’s excellence through synergies with the Lombardy Region.
