Professor Giuseppina Brena, residing in Gardone Riviera, has recently achieved a significant milestone in her journey as a writer with her international literary debut. Two of her short stories have been published, translated into English, in the renowned American online magazine of literature and cultural criticism, New English Review. This important step was made possible thanks to the initiative of an American friend, James Tetraut, a former professor of European literature, who submitted Brena’s texts to the magazine, receiving positive feedback from the editorial team.
Professor Brena, already known for her local publications and her involvement in the community through the parish bulletin, is now preparing to launch a new book of short stories. Her passion for writing continues to grow, and the recent success in the United States further expands her audience, allowing her to share her stories with readers across the ocean.
