Salò is preparing for Christmas with a series of green maintenance initiatives aimed at improving the green areas of the territory in anticipation of the winter season. In recent days, the municipality’s workers and gardeners have begun numerous tasks, including pruning trees and removing dead plants. As communicated by the municipality, this is the ideal time for such operations as plants begin their vegetative rest. Among the interventions already completed are the felling of a poplar at risk of falling and the cleaning of dry leaves from the palms.
Additionally, further work is planned, including the planting of new holm oaks along various streets, reshaping the crowns of cypress trees along the lakeside, and introducing new floral species. These efforts will not only beautify Salò during the holidays but will also ensure the safety of citizens by reducing the risks associated with potential tree or branch falls. Images of the ongoing work have been shared on social media to keep the community informed about the progress of the maintenance activities.
