The traveling creative writing workshop “Handle with Care. Boxed Stories Workshop” is coming to Riva del Garda. This exciting opportunity will allow participants to experiment with the technique of narrative reporting through a journey that will take them to discover a medieval village, a museum, and an archaeological site.
The objective of the workshop is to gather testimonies and images during the journey, and then compose them inside a real “box of stories”. The event will take place at the Casa degli Artisti “Giacomo Vittone” in Canale di Tenno from June 7th to June 9th.
Friday, June 7th will be dedicated to the Archeo Natura Park and the Fiavé Pile-dwelling Museum, as well as the Casa degli Artisti. On Saturday, June 8th, activities will take place in Canale di Tenno and its surroundings, while on Sunday, June 9th, the appointment is at the Casa degli Artisti from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
The cost to participate in the workshop is 40 euros, and the maximum number of participants is limited to 12 people. Registrations are open until May 15th, by contacting Emanuela Rollandini at the email address emanuela.rollandini@provincia.tn.it or by calling the telephone number 0461 492807.
The initiative is organized by the Strategic Mission Unit of the Superintendence for Cultural Heritage and Activities of the Autonomous Province of Trento, in collaboration with the Casa degli Artisti “Giacomo Vittone”.
The workshop will be conducted by Valerio Millefoglie, a writer, musician, and performer. Author of the novel “Manuale per diventare Valerio Millefoglie”, his work has been transformed into a reading performed in Caparezza’s “Fuori dal tunnel” tour and into the song “14 gocce di Valium” interpreted by Eugenio Finardi. His writings have been published in important newspapers such as La Repubblica, Il Venerdì, Linus, Rolling Stone, and Il mucchio selvaggio, as well as in various online magazines and on the Smemoranda website. In addition, Valerio Millefoglie is the director of Archivio Magazine.
