On March 23rd at 5:30 PM, the **Council Chamber** of the Municipality of **Soiano del Lago** will host a prestigious musical event. This will be the third concert by harpist **Anna Loro**, an internationally renowned musician from Brescia and a teacher at the “Luca Marenzio” Conservatory of Music in Brescia. Admission is free, and a refreshment offered by Frantoio Manestrini is scheduled to follow the performance.
Anna Loro, originally from Desenzano del Garda, began her musical journey studying at the Conservatory of Verona under the guidance of Maestro Mirella Vita. She later refined her skills at the International Academy of Gargilesse in France with Maestro Pierre Jamet. Her career is marked by numerous successes in national and international competitions, culminating in her debut at the Verdi Hall of the Milan Conservatory with the Dances of C. Debussy.
## An Extraordinary Artistic Journey
Throughout her career, Anna Loro has performed both as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles for important European musical associations. Among the prestigious venues where she has performed are the Salzburg Festival, the Quartetto Society of Milan, and the National Symphony Orchestra of RAI in Turin. She has played in various cities around the world, including New York, Rio de Janeiro, and Tokyo.
In addition to her concert activities, since 1976 she has served as an orchestral harpist for both Italian and foreign lyric-symphonic institutions. She has collaborated with renowned orchestras such as the Arena di Verona and the NDR in Hamburg, working under the direction of some of the greatest masters of classical music.
## Educational Activities and Collaborations
Anna Loro does not limit herself to performing; she also conducts advanced courses both in Italy and abroad, thereby contributing to the training of new generations of musicians. She has been invited to be part of juries in national and international competitions and is well-known for her summer masterclasses at the Castle of Padernello.
In 2017, she released two significant recordings dedicated to French Impressionism and the works of Claude Debussy, continuing to be an influential figure in the contemporary musical landscape.
