On Friday, November 29, 2024, the Sirmione Municipal Library will host a significant cultural event titled “SHE,” A Female Theatrical Mosaic. This theatrical reading, enriched by musical accompaniment, aims to explore women’s stories through a combination of comedy, poetry, and music.
A Journey Through Women’s Stories
The evening will feature a sequence of narratives that will provide insights into the nature of femininity and the complex relationship between men and women. The storytelling will include moments of solidarity among women, as well as opportunities to engage in dialogue with men. All of this will be framed by the symbolic figure of the first woman in history: Eve.
An Engaging Artistic Experience
The event will not merely present readings; the soundtrack, performed on the transverse flute by Giordana Ciampalini, will play an active role in the narrative, becoming an essential interlocutor in the storytelling process. The aim is to provide a space where the female role, often undervalued or misunderstood in contemporary society, can be highlighted through art.
Raising Awareness Against Violence Against Women
This performance coincides with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, celebrated on November 25. Established by the UN, this day aims primarily to raise public awareness about gender-based violence and to promote concrete actions to combat it.
Event Details
The event is scheduled for 8:45 PM at the Municipal Library. Admission is free and open to all those who wish to participate in this artistic moment dedicated to reflecting on respect and equality of rights.
