A new “High Impact” operation was conducted on Thursday evening by law enforcement agencies between Brescia and Desenzano, aimed at combating crime and the consumption of alcohol and drugs in nightlife areas. The operation involved the participation of the State Police, Carabinieri, Financial Police, and the Canine Unit of the Local Police, resulting in numerous identifications and checks on individuals, public establishments, and vehicles.
During the checks, 105 individuals, 5 public establishments, and 23 vehicles were inspected in areas with high evening foot traffic, such as the train station and the lakeside promenade. This initiative follows recent measures that led to the immediate closure of a bar in Desenzano for violations related to workplace safety. The operation represents another step in the fight against criminal incidents in the region.
