On Sunday, October 27, the Sigurtà Garden Park in Valeggio sul Mincio will host the historical reenactment of the Battle of Valeggio, which took place on December 26, 1800. This event, marking the first edition held in the park, will involve over 170 reenactors in 19th-century uniforms and will offer visitors an immersive experience of the Napoleonic era through artillery and infantry battles, traditional dances, and practical demonstrations of military strategies from that time.
The day will begin at 10 AM with a cannon salute to inaugurate the event and will culminate at 3:30 PM with the recreation of key moments from the conflict, including the French attack and the Austrian counterattack. Tickets can be purchased online or on-site. Please note that the event may be subject to changes due to adverse weather conditions.
