Renowned pastry chef Iginio Massari has won the bid to manage the restaurant inside the historic Wimmer Palace, formerly known as the Gardone Riviera Casino. Located on the shores of Lake Garda, the palace has recently been restored by the Municipality of Gardone Riviera. The Massari family’s project involves transforming the property into a gastronomic landmark, with spaces dedicated to events, ceremonies, and aperitifs, while maintaining the original elegance of the structure.
The opening of the new establishment is scheduled for the first half of 2025, following significant renovation work. Iginio Massari has expressed enthusiasm for this new culinary adventure, emphasizing how the project represents a celebration of the “beautiful and delicious” in all its forms. The kitchen will be entrusted to a young and prestigious chef, with the aim of creating innovative gastronomic proposals in collaboration with the Municipality of Gardone Riviera.
